The school was founded in 1951 as the branch class of Xing-Ya elementary school in Three plows, and then promoted to a branch campus in 1954 May.

In 1955 the school was reformed into an independent school. Led by the first principal Xi, the school had its land bought, buildings constructed, and finally having its first appearance completed. Because the school is located in Three plows, and for commemorating the original school names, it was named San-Xing public school.

In 1965, the buildings were renewed. In 1968, the fourth and fifth grade students were recruited to the newly established Guang-Fu primary school.

In 1976, the school was assigned to assist the evaluation of the textbook "the life and ethics".

In 1979, The buildings were rebuilt to be four floors buildings.

In 1980, the school was assigned by the bureau of education to handle the outstanding children experimental education.

In 2001, Mr. Liu was elected to be the eleventh principal of the school.
